They say necessity is the mother of all innovation......or was it that necessity was the building block of invention??? I can't remember; the only thing I ever got out of it was that the country only progresses in wartime. Not exactly panning out for us right now is it? Anyways, I like to say that Procrastination is the Mother of all Learning. This is my first ever blog, and it is a perfect example of it. If it wasn't for procrastination, I would never have made this blog. I would never have done a lot of things, actually. I would never have learned how to play the guitar. I would never have learned how to get really good at Halo 2, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Call of Duty, etc. I would never have learned how to cook. I would never have gotten drunk.....well let's not get too crazy.
The point is, I am a mindlessly wandering 20-something (23 right now) who is in grad school and really does not want to be. Right now I should be doing research on my thesis so that I have something to present to my advisor when I meet him tomorrow morning. I will probably find a little something to show him, but it won't be useful. Instead, I am using my valuable time to write this blog and watch the Kardashians on TV. God why do I care so much about those people. Oh yeah, because Scott is hilarious. I wonder what new things I will learn this upcoming week when I am procrastinating once again?
